terra public broadcasting fashion branding project

TERRA PUBLIC BROADCASTING  is a speculative system of anti-establishment messaging in the form of practical workwear, made for the undervalued workforce that keeps London running.

The city resets through people rarely seen: pub staff locking up at 3am, warehouse workers clocking out before sunrise, delivery drivers dropping packages before London wakes.

While we work longer hours, brands speak at us, relying on scarcity and resale culture, delivering poorer quality that ends up in landfill. Responsibility is pushed on us while companies have no one to answer to. *tpb is a direct response to these frustrations.

We distribute freely, aligning ourselves with the labour cycles of our invisible workforce—setting up at the early hours near pubs, third spaces, and warehouses.

logo development + breakdown

Visually, we take inspiration from the infrastructure familiar to every Londoner: TFL signage, road signs, and old broadcasting networks. As an anti-brand, we re-contextualise these systems to communicate our three pillars:

Communal Aid and Protection, Reclamation of Public Knowledge, and Environmental Responsibility.
